台灣學生要參加美國暑期打工旅遊計劃（Work and Travel Program），需申請J-1簽證，以下透過中英對照，無敵簡單介紹美國打工度假(working holiday)申請方式，同時一邊學英文喔！

•  Applying for a visa：

1. Please follow the steps listed on the “How to apply” page to submit your application and prepare the required documents.

2. Persons applying for a J-1 visa with an initial DS-2019 form issued on or after September 1, 2004 are required to pay the SEVIS I-901 fee before making a visa application.
   交換訪客簽證(J-1)申請人，要以2004年9月1日當天或之後核發給新訪客用的DS-2019申請J-1簽證，在申請簽證前必需繳交SEVIS I-901費用。 關於SEVIS I-901費用說明：http://www.ice.gov/sevis/i901
   
   
3. J visa applicants participating in a program who are sponsored by the U.S. Federal Government whose program number begins with "G-1", "G-2", "G-3", or "G-7" do not have to pay the SEVIS fee, visa processing fee, or the APC service fee.
   參加聯邦政府所贊助的交換訪客計劃，且其計劃代碼是G-1、G-2、G-3或G-7開頭的J簽證申請人不必繳納SEVIS費用、簽證手續費及資料處理中心服務費。
   
   
4. Please present proof of educational and work experience.
   提供學歷及工作資歷證明。
   
   
5. Please provide evidence that you are qualified for the program and that you have sufficient funds to cover program costs. 請提供資料證明您有資格參與該計劃，同時有足夠的經費支付所需費用。
   
   
6. Please present evidence to show that you have a residence abroad to which you intend to return at the end of the stay in the US.
   請提供資料證明您在訪美行程結束後，會自美返回到您的住所。

• Attention:

1. Readmittance: Participants can be admitted to the program more than once.
   申請次數:可以多次的申請暑期打工度假
2. Program Length: The maximum length of the program is four months.
   度假打工長度: 最長四個月
3. Returning Home: Students must return to their home country prior to the start date of their university or college.
   回國時間: 學生必須在大學開學之前回國
